Artist's Comments

This is my interpretation of Fiyero from Wicked based on the Australian musical performance. Not the book, and not the blonde guy from the American performance. I'm pretty sure Millsy (who plays Fiyero here) has darker hair than this, but it just suited the feel more to have it lighter.

This has been a huuuuuuuuuugely long project. Not least because my computer crashed halfway thorugh colouring, taking my file with it so I had to start all over again.
Also, it took me about 2 hours to settle on a background. Imaginative huh? If anyone has any better suggestions for a background I'd really appreciate them.

This is also my first piece done on my new drawing tablet. It's so shiny!! I wanted to try a more water coloury effect for this one, and Painter is awesome for doing more subdued colouring.

Ugh... I know the feeling. When I was working on my manga, there was a power outage on one occasion and then an overheating problem on another.

But yeah, anyways, it's looking good. Seems like you've been getting with proportions lately.

Everyone i've talked to though is having trouble getting through the book. I gave up 2/3 of the way in

yah, I think I've been noticing a bit more when the proportions are off so I try harder to get them right. Still needs practise though! :D lol
